Life is very busy at the farm, the pumpkins are growing. Clay has been busy all summer long working on all the improvements to the farm. He’s worked really hard painting, weeding, and helping with just about every project we’ve had going this summer. He just purchased his first car this summer and he’s earned every penny himself!!! (We’re just a little proud)
Doug has completely redone the Scarecrow Cafe – just in time for all the great pulled pork, curly fries and pumpkin funnel cakes!!! We’ve added a couple of new attractions this year: Country golf, or Hillybilly golf as Doug puts it – you’ll just have to come play for yourself and you’ll know why Doug could call it Hillbilly golf. One project Doug has just finished is the new walking horse tire swing for the kids – I’m sure it will have everyone going in circles for hours!!!
I’ve been busily working all summer long on things for the gift shop and it won’t be long until I loose my garage again until November. I’m really looking forward to putting everything all together!!!
