Woman – bring all your friends – It’s Witches Night Out. Come have fun – dress up in your best Witches attire!!! It will be a night to remember! Local business will be here to create a fun filled night of shopping, food, and fun!! Get your nails done, massages, shop – lots of food, wine and fun!! There are many more details brewing!!!

Doug is busy preparing for the event – even today as I write this he’s busy pouring concrete in the barn to get ready for this fun filled night!!!

Also, a newsworthy event is that I’ll be aired on In Country Television. (RFD-TV) Tuesday September 7th on Direct TV channel 345, and Dishnetwork channel 231 at 8:30pm. It will also be aired Wednesday morning, September 8th at 10:30am

Life is very busy at the farm, the pumpkins are growing. Clay has been busy all summer long working on all the improvements to the farm. He’s worked really hard painting, weeding, and helping with just about every project we’ve had going this summer. He just purchased his first car this summer and he’s earned every penny himself!!! (We’re just a little proud)

Doug has completely redone the Scarecrow Cafe – just in time for all the great pulled pork, curly fries and pumpkin funnel cakes!!! We’ve added a couple of new attractions this year: Country golf, or Hillybilly golf as Doug puts it – you’ll just have to come play for yourself and you’ll know why Doug could call it Hillbilly golf. One project Doug has just finished is the new walking horse tire swing for the kids – I’m sure it will have everyone going in circles for hours!!!

I’ve been busily working all summer long on things for the gift shop and it won’t be long until I loose my garage again until November. I’m really looking forward to putting everything all together!!!

Fall is in the air! The pumpkins are turning and it’s almost time for our favorite time of the year. We have been very busy this year adding new things to the farm. One of the biggest projects for us is our new BBQ concession trailor. We found something we thought would fit right in with our farm and we’re very excited about adding some great food to offer our customers. We’ve been busy testing different pulled pork recipes in our new smoker – we hope you’ll like what we’ve come up with! Also to the menu we’ve added pumpkin funnel cakes – the best you’ll ever taste! Thanks to my good friend Carla Hall – she came up with the idea.

We’ve also been very busy with new activities to add to the fun. Doug built a tire mountain for the kids to play on and also is working to put together a farm obstacle course and my favorite – family dodge ball. Kids you get th chance to throw balls at your mom and dad and not get into trouble!!!
